We’ll meet the lesbian wife of the Archbishop of Canterbury, and celebrate Mary Seacole, the trailblazing Black nurse and businesswoman who healed soldiers and defied prejudice.Forget polished mansions and polite history — this is working-class London at its best, full of fire, resilience, and brilliance.We’ll stroll along the quieter South Bank, with stunning views of the Houses of Parliament (a dream for photographers!), before ending in Leake Street, London’s vibrant tunnel of ever-changing street art.At the end we shall visit a truly independent coffee shop (optional).So come join me south of the river, where London’s forgotten rebels are ready to tell their stories.
