Description
Exhibit a quilt of your own, or stop in to admire the beautiful quilts on display. Local quilt club members will be on hand throughout the event to demonstrate quilting techniques, share helpful tips, and answer questions. Whether you’re an experienced quilter or just curious about how it all comes together, you’ll leave with new ideas and inspiration.
Quilt Show Entry • 9-10am
Bring your entries for the quilt show. The show is open to anyone who has made a quilt or who owns a quilt they'd like to display for others to enjoy and appreciate.
Demonstrations • 10am-2pm
Members of our local quilt guilds will be on hand giving demonstrations, answering all your questions, and offering useful quilting tips.
Quilt Show • 10am-2pm
View the talents of area quilters and vote for your favorite! At the end of the day, the audience's favorite quilt will receive a special prize! There will also be opportunities to win door prizes.

Quilt Show Guidelines
Individuals are allowed to enter more than one quilt.
Quilts MUST be brought to the Laurel County Public Library on Saturday, March 7th between 9-10am ONLY.
Quilts MUST be picked up on Saturday, March 7th from 2-4pm. The Friends of the LCPL and the Laurel County Public Library are NOT responsible for any quilt not picked up during the hours listed.
All entrants will be asked to fill out (as completely as possible) a short information card giving the type of quilt, the name of the quilt, the owner of the quilt, the quilter's name, and any history known about the quilt.
There will be no "skills judging" of the displayed quilts. However, viewers may vote for their favorite quilt and the overall winner will receive a special prize.
