What is it?!
Queer Art(ists) Now, presented by And What? Queer Arts Festival is an annual open call platform/exhibition for contemporary, UK based, Queer and LGBTQIA+ artists.

The exhibition Queer Art(ists) Now provides a snap-shot of what artists within our communities are making right now; an insight into the thoughts, preoccupations, aesthetics, and politics of queer artists. It is the biggest open call exhibition of Queer artists in the UK. It is peer-to-peer led. It is fabulous!

"better than Frieze" 2017 attendee (will go unnamed due to the fact they run a major gallery in London)
- but like DUH. Course we are!

Including: VISUAL ARTS / INSTALLATION / PHOTOGRAPHY / SOUND ART / PERFORMANCE / SCULPTURE / VIDEO from around 50+ artists. That's a lot of art.

***work does not necessarily depict Queer subject matter and may or may not include, in no particular order, nudity, profanity, subjects of a 'sensitive' nature***

Work at QAN18 is for SALE! So why not come and grab yourself a bargain whilst supporting a local queer artist, and clear superstar of the future.

The selection panel was made up of Andrew Ellerby (And What?), La JohnJospeh (Artist/Performer) and three artists from last years exhibition Eden Rabanes (new graduate), Nigel Grimmer (artist and academic/lecturer) and Joanne Newman (artist). Peer-to-peer babes.
