This quiet day explores a literal and metaphorical ascent up a mountain, a journey of spiritual formation through aesthetic experience - and transformation thereafter. Using exercises found in creative practice and rooted in Christian theology of the desert fathers – this is a time to reflect upon journeys of change and transition, unlearning and ultimately expanding perception towards a truer light.Jennifer is a multidisciplinary artist and educator integrating textiles, fashion and poetry. Formerly running the Artist in Residence programme at the V&A Museum she is now competing her PhD in thelogy and the arts at Glasgow University.
