Along the way, we’ll discover some of Greece’s most exciting native grapes, including Thrapsathiri, Assyrtiko, Xinomavro and Mavrodafni.Whether you already love Greek wine or you’re completely new to it, come along for a relaxed evening of good wine, new discoveries and plenty of stories from the vineyards and wineries behind each bottle.The Wines🥂 Theopetra Sparkling White | MeteoraWe’ll start the evening with Greek bubbles from Meteora, before making our way into the still wines.🌊 Idaia Winery Ocean, Thrapsathiri 2024 | CreteNext, we head south to Crete to discover Thrapsathiri, one of the island’s indigenous white grape varieties.🌋 Gaia Wines Thalassitis, Assyrtiko 2025 | SantoriniFrom the volcanic vineyards of Santorini, we’ll taste Assyrtiko from one of the island’s established producers and explore why this variety has become one of the biggest names in Greek wine.🌸 Argyrakis Wines Áti Rosé | NaoussaOur first introduction to Xinomavro comes through rosé, showing a fresher and lighter expression of this important Northern Greek variety.🍷 Argyrakis Wines Áti Red | NaoussaWe’ll then taste Xinomavro as a red and see a completely different side of the same grape, as we move towards the richer wines of the evening.🍷 Inigos Rosso di Massimo, Dry Mavrodafni 2023 | PeloponneseWe’ll finish in the Peloponnese with Mavrodafni, but perhaps not as you know it. Rather than the traditional sweet style often associated with the grape, Rosso di Massimo is a dry expression and a great wine to finish our autumn line-up.What to ExpectOver the course of the evening, we’ll taste all six wines together while exploring the grapes, regions, wineries and stories behind each bottle.This isn’t a formal wine class. You don’t need any previous wine knowledge, and there are no wrong questions.
