Will he receive the support he needs, or will his peers, teachers, and parents write him off and let him down? This 15 minute excerpt will be followed by a conversation with the creative team.Nature Trail Reimagined is a collective zine featuring poems and imaginative self-portraits created by students from local Newham schools, inspired by Benjamin Zephaniah’s celebrated poem Nature Trail. The showcase will include a short talk by the project curators, award-winning author Vanessa Taylor and Ivy Studio, as well as a documentary film capturing the project’s creative process, produced by Nu Formation.The event will be hosted by Russeni Fisher.
