- **Event Description**: A collaborative creative screening and exhibition exploring the experiences of precariously housed migrants in London.About this EventThis body of work builds on local partnerships with the Lewisham Refugee and Migrant Network (LRMN) and Day-Mer (Turkish and Kurdish Community Centre, Haringey), two grassroots organisations embedded within migrant communities across Lewisham and Haringey, and ongoing engagement with the Greater London Authority (GLA) as part of research examining equitable climate adaptation planning in London.Over six weeks, members of migrant communities in London participated in a series of creative workshops exploring everyday life under housing precarity. The workshops brought together people with diverse migration trajectories, including refugees, people seeking asylum, and longer-term migrants, reflecting the varied legal statuses, social positions, and housing conditions that shape precarity in London. Through printmaking, portrait-making, zines, poetry, and theatre, participants articulated lived experiences that often remain marginal within formal policy discussions.This curated body of work is intended to engage policymakers and practitioners, contributing to discussions about how climate adaptation planning can more meaningfully reflect the realities of precariously housed migrant communities.
