Our Son: The Battle of Forgiveness


A powerful fusion of Theatre, Research, Lived Experience , and Community Mission, where true stories of forgiveness collide with art, healing, and hope.

Lead by Learn 2 Live Director Jermaine Wong, an award winning playwright and spoken word artist, teacher, and father who lost his son to knife crime but who choses to forgive the students involved.

Our Son: The Battle of Forgiveness takes audiences on an unforgettable journey through pain, purpose, and redemption.

This event goes beyond performance. It’s a movement of healing, a space for honest conversation, reflection, and transformation. Through theatre, spoken word, and real-life storytelling, audiences are invited to wrestle with one life-altering question:

“What happens when forgiveness has the final word?”
