While aunty struggles to get her visa, cousins in the UK are rehearsing traditional wedding songs and dances. The invitation list is getting bigger. When Ashik’s uncle finds out that Nitu’s grandfather is a farmer, he is not pleased. He is more worried about his social status than the happiness of the couple. Nitu and Ashik discover that the situation is spiralling out of their control. Family traditions are not being kind to them.Fate intervenes and covid restrictions force Ashik and Nitu to get married in Nitu’s garden. They can only have a maximum of six guests at any time. With a more intimate celebration, the bride and groom are able to avoid huge costs and family tensions.
