Whether you’re a film lover or filmmaker, a creative, or simply curious, MicroActs is a film night not to be missed!MicroActs creates free/low-cost & accessible film events that showcase independent artists/filmmakers from around the world and champions the weird and wonderful. Discover the extraordinary genre of Artist Film in a welcoming space and connect with the MicroActs community. You can expect an evening of unique & unusual films that defy genre and create conversations; exploring diverse themes such as cultural heritage, personal experience, queer identity, political activism & the absurd. The venue brings together a café, event spaces, studios and community facilities to support a diverse ecosystem of artists, practitioners, local residents and small businesses.Each week the space hosts a wide range of activities including cultural events, workshops, performances, wellbeing sessions, community gatherings and creative programmes. Please use the doorbell on the grey doors to the right of our main entrance to call a member of staff, who will bring the lift down and open the wheelchair accessible door.The height of the bar is 103 cm. The menu boards are visible from this point.
