I really came out of my comfort zone and you made the space so safe (I find the term ‘safe space’ so pretentious but it actually rang true for once) and relaxed and it felt like I could truly experiment and play.""Be ready to completely lose control and challenge yourself and your partner, but don’t worry with Skye’s guidance you’re completely safe. You’ll get to work with different partners and explore slightly different ways to approach Meisner. I especially liked applying it to a written text and seeing how it came alive."Skye’s practice focuses on two main aims: for her students to gain huge confidence and independence in Meisner’s work and crucially, a full understanding of how and where to apply it.In this class you will be going through more advanced Meisner technique exercises, applying this work to a short contemporary duologue.This is a purely practical class, where you will learn through practising and honing these exercises.This is a class for actors who have some prior Meisner training, this is not a class for beginners.
