An inter-professional course to explore human factors, early recognition and management of the acutely deteriorating pregnant women as highlighted by topics from any of the MBRRACE-UK reports 2014-18. A learner directed course to allow you to decide on the day which topic you would like learn about e.g. shortness of breath, collapse, headache etc.
This fully immersive interprofessional simulation course provides an opportunity to:
Improve your clinical knowledge in acute non-obstetric medical emergencies in pregnant women
Improve non-technical skills in order to strengthen multi-disciplinary teamwork and improve patient safety.
ST 1-2 Obstetrics and Gynaecology,
ST3+ in: Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Acute and Emergency Medicine, Anaesthetics and Intensive Care Medicine
