Mark is also a full Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Western and has cross-appointments in five other departments, The Rotman Institute of Philosophy, and The Western Institute for Neuroscience. He is also a faculty affiliate of Toronto’s Vector Institute for Artificial Intelligence.Western was the first university in Canada to create an AI leadership role within its senior executive, and Mark Daley has been said to be uniquely qualified for this exciting new role that will help propel Western to the forefront of AI research and application. Mark is a well respected AI researcher and leader in neural computation.
