SonicSoul & SOUND INTERVENTIONS are collaborating with 'The London Buddhist Arts Centre' (Eastbourne House Arts) fortnightly to facilate a 75-minute Gong Bath / Sound Meditation. This is our last Gong session before the summer break.
*The term 'Bath' means that you are bathed in the sound waves of the Gongs and other sacred instruments. There is no water involved and you do not have to remove any clothing. You simply lie down on mats, wrap yourself in a blanket and relax while you are cocooned in live sounds. A concert with your eyes closed.
DESCRIPTIONS OF GONG BATH
We facilitate a 75-minute sound immersion with their 5 Gongs and other therapeutic instruments including himalayan singing bowls, a shruti box, bells, a frame drum, koshi wind chimes, cactus rainsticks, nutshell shakers, tingshaw bells, Peruvian rattles, croaking frog güiro's, cabasa's, power chimes, kalimba's, a sansula, and bamboo leaf rattles.
Guests will be invited to lay down on mats, close their eyes, and experience deep listening as they are saturated and cocooned in sounds. 'SonicSoul' & 'Sound Interventions' will endeavour to deliver sound frequencies to the human body through the ears and directly through the skin, as a sound massage.
The session starts at 19:45 but please arrive at 19:30 to settle in.
Places are limited, and the choice of mats/proximity to the gongs and instruments is on a first-come first-serve basis.

*WHAT TO BRING:
Each guest is provided with a yoga mat, a head rest, and an eye pillow but, please bring:
-a blanket (or sleeping bag or something of the sort) to keep warm because the body temperature may shift during the session. We have a few blankets. If you prefer to use one of ours please contact us.
-a cushion/pillow (or cushions/pillows) for extra comfort. You will be laying down for one hour on a yoga mat and the more 'padding' you have underneath you, the more comfortable you will be. And, the more comfortable you are the more beneficial the session will be for you.
-a bottle of water (although there is access to water and tea). You may get thirsty.
Please let us know if you are on your first trimester of pregnancy, suffer from a sound sensitive condition, have a pacemaker, or have any particular need and not sure if the sessions are suitable for you.
