He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, and the Royal College of General Practitioners. His books have been translated into twenty languages. His latest book, ’The Unfragile Mind‘, examines mental health, arguing for greater curiosity, humility, kindness, and hope in approaches to psychiatric diagnosis.Micha Frazer-CarrollSpeakerMicha is a freelance journalist and author of ’Mad World: The Politics of Mental Health‘. She has worked for publications including the Guardian, gal-dem and the Independent. She has also done communications work for anti-racist, abolitionist and disability justice organisations including BLMUK, Healing Justice London and NEUROMANCERS, a peer support initiative for neurodivergent people.Natasha DevonFacilitatorNatasha Devon is a writer, broadcaster and campaigner. Since 2008, Natasha has visited schools and events throughout the world delivering talks and conducting research on mental health and related issues such as body image and gender equality. She is co-founder of Where’s Your Head At, a campaign to improve workplace mental health outcomes and founder of the Mental Health Media Charter, which scrutinises the way mental health is discussed and portrayed in the news. Natasha has a weekly show on LBC. She has been awarded an MBE for her services to young people and is a Fellow of the University of Wales: Aberystwyth. She has also been named one of the UK’s most influential queer women in both the DIVA and Pride power lists.Michelle WoodBritish Sign Language interpreterMichelle has been a qualified British Sign Language Interpreter for over 20 years and has been working with the Wellcome Collection for the last 10 years. She loves being a small part of the team who ensure that the Deaf Community have full access to what, in her view, is one of the best places in London.
