Tracks from her own quartet, now spanning 18 years, receive radio airplay from Europe to Mexico and are streamed by fans in over 30 countries.Milán Szakonyi is a singer-guitarist and producer with an established career in the Hungarian music scene. In addition to his solo acoustic projects, he spent a decade as the frontman of the renowned Balázs Elemér Group.Together, Klára and Milán present a tasteful blend of refined acoustic arrangements, intimate singer-songwriter sensibilities, and nuanced jazz elements. Celebrating ten years of musical collaboration, the pair have performed across the globe, including concerts in Munich, London, Canada, and the US. They launched their anniversary year with a major tour of Mexico following the release of their album Nostalgia (Hajdu Klára Quartet feat. Milán Szakonyi), which was named Hungarian Jazz Album of the Year.The celebration continues in London, where the duo will perform a selection of original compositions and personal favourites in an intimate acoustic setting featuring guitar.Join us on 17 September at 7 PM at the Liszt Institute London.
