- **Event Description**: It's the 5th year of running the JImmyC's Blues Picnic in memory of #jimmyccoletsis during the Crouch End Festival! part of @jimmycbluessession project. 
This time we have 12pm The Flaming Serpents (school band formed in the Coleridge Primary - I saw them recently and it is so inspiring to see young people play I needed to get them! what a great energy - and they are 9 - 10 year old!), 
1pm Fair Shake (with Tom B) - they really shook the energy last year putting us all into the festival mood and i'm sure they do it again :-) 
2pm JimmyC’s ‚band’  with Tom Lee on vocals (all the way from Spain!), Mickey Parker (drums), Terry Duggan (bass), freshly confirmed Marc Burguera and Roger Cohen (guitars), Tom Brundage (harp) and maybe also John Keathner will jump for song or two (?). We will also have Jimmy's horn section - Dave Eastham, Alby Green! So a Big Blast Blues Band playing all songs Jimmy used to play and 2 of his originals. 
4pm Mass - all welcomed. 
After the mass from 5.15pm The Space Chickens (with Ekim Hatter), 
6pm my good friend and very talented original artist Rick Hayter with another great friend/ drummer Jake Chisholm will deliver some original material which makes me laugh and cry at the same time - Rich played at the Tower in September 2024, whoever has missed him it's your chance to see him now 
6.45pm Joshuablue Band which performed a year ago 
7.45 The Bear Pit Band will close the day! 
both bands back by popular demand! and cannot wait to hear some of the songs The Bear Pit added to their repertoire - heard some on Saturday and i felt like i got 30 years back in time immediately, which is what i need to keep my energy levels high! 

This year no JimmyC’s Bluesdragons as our Paul Soper - one of the original Bluesdragons and leading force behind the band - is unfortunately away :-( but hope next year with his help we hear Jimmy’s original music again and bring Bakelites back as well! It will also be Jimmy’s 5th anniversary and we got a movie about Jimmy ready plus Dave Miller is working on The Jacob Walker story with Jimmy’s music so we make it even more special next year!

And not to forget why the name JimmyCPicnic - Jimmy, who was performing locally and all around the world as JimmyC  & The Bluesdragons (the last 20 years (UK) of his life and before Canada and Japan), lost battle with Cholangiocarcinoma (rare bile duct cancer in his pancreas) on 30/5/21. Jimmy played picnics at St Mary's Tower during the first lockdown in 2020 providing entertainment in the safe environment & keeping live music alive. There is a tree and a bench in the park in memory of Jimmy, both with QR code which takes you to the video when Jimmy was performing in the front of the same Tower in 2020. Since Jimmy passed away I started running events in Jimmy's memory under @jimmycbluessessions and managed to book over 200 events, stopped counting when i reached 200 :-) 
We will have JimmyC’S Friends and local bands playing (I could not do any of it without the huge support from local musicians who participate so THANK YOU all!!) plus kids entertainment (My Gym, Charlie the Clown and more) and food (Hungry Taco, La Giaconda, Ice Cream) and drinks so #wholelottafun! 
We plan to play 12pm - 9pm with the break for the Church Mass. Everyone is invited to join the fun on the day and have a picnic in the grounds around.
