We’ll discuss how generative modeling reshapes our approach to simulation, reasoning, and policy learning, and what it means for building generalizable, trustworthy embodied AI. Beyond autonomous driving, these ideas open broader questions about how AI can learn from diverse real-world experiences to anticipate, plan, and act with human-level robustness.About the speakerDr. Elahe Arani is the Director of AI Research at Wayve, where she leads the development of foundation models for autonomous driving, including the generative world model and the multimodal language model. Her work focuses on building scalable, safe, and generalizable embodied intelligence through generative modeling, reinforcement learning, and language grounding.She is also an Adjunct Professor of AI in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), where she co-leads the NeurAI Lab.
