This event looks at how regulation manages increasing delegation from pilot to computing system. In aviation, new capability is never just a technical question. The real question is who, or what, is being trusted with control? For drones, that question is becoming more important every year. We are moving from direct pilot control toward increasingly automated and higher-authority systems. That means computing is taking on more of the flying task especially end to end data capture and transportation, while regulation has to decide how that shift can happen without losing safety, oversight or accountability.About the speakerWilliam Arinze BSc RAeS - CEO of The Drone Rules Will is the founder and CEO of The Drone Rules, a company focused on the future of drone operations by providing specialist Uncrewed Aircraft regulatory consulting, and facilitating aerial solutions which harness the power of safe, effective cutting-edge drone technology. Our events are for adults aged 16 years and over. This meeting is conducted in accordance with the BCS Code of Conduct for Meetings.BCS is a membership organisation.
