- **Event Description**: Join the team from our exhibition partner, Hospital Rooms, in this panel discussion.About this EventJoin us for a vital conversation exploring the impact of racial inequality on Black and Brown staff within NHS mental health services.We will discuss how transformative creative interventions, delivered by Hospital Rooms in collaboration with Karen Gibson MBE and Lakwena MacIver at Goodmayes Hospital, provide opportunities for disarming restrictive mental health environments.This session will interrogate how collaborative and reciprocal partnerships between arts organisations and established NHS programmes such as the Patient Carer Race Equality Framework can directly influence the quality of care and staff experience.Panelists : Lakwena Maciever, Karen Gibson MBE, Catherine LundDoors will open at 6.30pm with the talk starting at 7pm. Please don’t arrive before 6.30pm. The talk will last roughly 1 hour including time for questions.The exhibition, bar and shop will open before the tour, from 6.30pm.Limited spaces available, booking essential.
