On 26th March 2018 at the Heung Yee Kuk Building, Shatin, Hong Kong,  IFA members will be coming together to set a new world record by massaging 1,000 elderly people in one day to set a new world record. On the day therapists will be providing hand massages 30 minutes in duration. 

Throughout the year the International Federation of Aromatherapists (IFA) organise and exhibit at various trade shows to raise awareness of aromatherapy and provide sample treatments to the public - this will be the biggest event held yet in the IFA’s history and an amazing honour for IFA Aromatherapists to be part of this ground breaking event and potentially be in the Guinness Book of records as well as giving back to the community. The IFA will be working with WSA and CPA charity to support the elderly community in Hong Kong. 

This is also a great opportunity for newly qualified or experienced Aromatherapists to practice their skills keeping to time, showcase their skills and network with their colleagues - and if that wasn’t enough all participants will gain valuable CPD points with the IFA (1 point per hour). IFA staff and teachers will be available on the day. 

The IFA will be providing all our volunteer therapists with a complimentary t shirt and all other necessary equipment, oils, towels etc. which will be provided to therapists on the day.  All participants must be IFA full members please contact us for more details.
