Magma is delighted to present and evening of readings from this year’s winning and commended poets in both categories.The evening will be hosted by editors from the Magma board and competition judge Rishi Dastidar, author of four collections and poetry reviewer for The Guardian, who will also read from his latest collection Cherry Blossom at Nightbreak, The Observer Poetry Book of the Month March 2026.This will be a wonderful evening of poetry in a uniquely atmospheric venue on a boat moored in the London Docklands. Come early for happy hour 4-6pm and enjoy a drink in the gorgeous bar or on the rooftop upper deck.The event will start at 7pm.Entry free, registration essential.www.magmapoetry.comRecommended age: 14+ years______________________The venue opens at 4pm for drinks in the bar.Theatreship is committed to broadening access to the arts - we know that ticket price is a huge barrier for some.
