On Good Friday morning, we gather with our Primate, Archbishop Shane Parker at St Paul’s Cathedral for the Solemn Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion.
This service invites us to stand at the foot of the cross and to enter deeply into the mystery of Christ’s suffering and death for the life of the world. Through Scripture, prayer, silence, and the veneration of the cross, we are drawn into the heart of God’s self-giving love revealed on Calvary.
This liturgy is marked by reverence and restraint, allowing space for grief, honesty, and contemplation, while holding fast to the hope that even here, love is stronger than death.
All are welcome to attend — whether you come regularly, are walking this day with questions, or simply seek a quiet, sacred place to pause and reflect.
This service forms part of the Great Three Days (the Triduum), as we journey together from the cross toward the hope of Easter.
