Life drawing offers a rare opportunity to slow down and observe — to study perspective, line, tone, and colour while deepening your understanding of anatomy and expression. The familiar yet complex nature of the body makes it both a challenge and a joy to capture, helping to sharpen your artistic eye and strengthen your creative confidence.

Bella’s holistic approach to teaching art promotes the mindful quality of drawing, encouraging you to be fully present in the creative process. Throughout the class, you’ll receive expert tips and gentle guidance to help you build confidence and develop your own drawing skills.

Known for her warm, positive energy, Bella creates a welcoming and uplifting atmosphere where everyone is encouraged to enjoy the process, let go of perfection, and discover their own creative flow at the drawing board.

What to expect

The Arding Rooms is a recently opened private members’ club in Clapham Junction, located in the beautifully restored Arding and Hobbs building. Guests can buy snacks and drinks throughout the event, and we’ll include a glass of mulled wine halfway through for a festive touch.

6.30pm arrival

6.45-8.45pm drawing, with a midway break for drinks and snacks
