Fashion Designers & Upcycling Artists – Open Call (London)

NICOLA Arts is seeking fashion designers, upcyclers, textile artists and creative makers to join our new sustainable fashion initiative across our London community shops.

We are looking for designers interested in: • Upcycling second-hand clothing into unique, wearable pieces • Customising garments through painting, printing, embroidery, patchwork or reconstruction • Developing capsule collections using recycled materials • Collaborating with an emerging creative network • Showcasing and selling their work in a public-facing retail space • Gaining portfolio experience within a community-led arts organisation

What we offer: • Free participation in the programme • Access to garments and materials for upcycling • Opportunities to exhibit and sell your work in our Holborn “Ministry of NICOLA Arts” shop • Promotion through NICOLA Arts’ marketing channels • Long-term collaboration opportunities, workshops and community events
