Along the way, we’ll explore local history, everyday spaces, and hidden stories — from churches and local businesses to homes of notable residents, including a special visit to the Polish Underground Movement Study Trust.A walk with a purposeThis walk is part of the Your Voice Your Town project, funded by Ealing Council, supporting a shared goal: helping people feel safe, connected and welcome in their local area.As we walk, we’ll gently reflect on questions such as:What makes a place feel safe or comfortable?Are there areas that feel less accessible or welcoming?How do different people experience the same space?There’s no pressure to speak — you’re welcome to simply listen, observe and enjoy the walk.What makes these walks differentSince 2016, Talking and Exploring has been bringing people together through walks that focus on both place and people.For this project, we also:welcome local residents, newcomers, and visitors alikereach out to those who may feel less confident, isolated or new to the areaconnect with local businesses, community and faith groups where possiblecreate space for conversation, shared experience and new connectionsAfter the walkWe’ll finish with an optional café stop — a chance to rest, chat and continue the conversation in a relaxed setting.You’ll also be invited to share your thoughts afterwards.
