Introducing Jake. Jake is all about three things: dough, plantain, and absolutely no boundaries. Over a decade ago Jake started his cooking journey frying plantain at a Colombian food stall in Camden. Through setting up Dinner for One Hundred, that plantain passion never left his boundary-less bravado.
Whether putting it on pizzas with jerk chicken, or sitting it on top of Malaysian roti drenched in spicy fish head curry and crispy chicken salt at their sell-out dinners. Of course as menu creator of D4100 Jake knows his dough (man after our own heart)He’s always snuck the sticky goodness into a course at Dinner - Malaysian dining, Bangladeshi feasts! This time, there is no sneaking in, Plantain is celebrated in every course. Plantain. We love you so much.
We've been admiring the work of Jake and the Dinner For One Hundred Team for a LONG time. These guys are passionate about food, grafters, and all-around good folk. We even got the whole DK team down to South East a few years back to pile into their gaff and they threw us a proper Xmas knees up. Opening the doors to the bakery for our mates is what it’s all about. It’s gunna be a big night!
