Dialogue between Music and Palette

The Komitas Choir was founded by Sipan Olah in 2013. We perform a repertoire of Armenian songs of all genres, as well as selected songs from other cultures. The four-voice semi-professional choir, which is named after the renowned Armenian composer, enjoys an exceptional reputation both in the UK and internationally.

This concert will include a variety of Armenian and other songs sung by the Komitas Choir. Solo performances of renowned pieces written by composers from the likes of Komitas to Arno Babajanyan will be performed. This unique event will also see an art exhibition held simultaneously, showcasing 26 paintings by renowned artist, Leonie Pilart. This will form the essence of the dialogue between music and palette as each showcased painting shall complement the songs and pieces performed by the Komitas Choir and soloists.
