Overcoming Stress & Anxiety
Part 1: De-stress with meditation
25 February - Why We get stressed4 March - Finding peace through wisdom11 March - Dealing with difficult people
Imagine living without stress and tension – a life free from worry, anxiety and the many daily problems these negative states of mind create.
In these classes, we will look at how meditation can beat stress and help you to be more relaxed, peaceful and positive in daily life.
Train in powerful stress-busting techniques derived from ancient Buddhist wisdom, face life’s adversities with a happy heart, learn how to deal with ‘difficult people’ without getting angry, and transform hardships into opportunities for spiritual growth.
About the Classes
Everyone is welcome. Classes are offered seated on chairs. Each class is self-contained and includes an initial breathing meditation, a talk (see class topics) and a second meditation.
There is always time for discussion, to ask questions and for advice on how to improve your practice of meditation at the end of each class.
Classes are guided by experienced teachers who will inspire you by explaining the benefits of meditation, share step by step instructions and offer practical advice for daily life.
