Dawn Chorus & Breakfast at Wood Farm, Stanmore!
Be up with the larks and experience one of natures best spectacles, the Dawn Chorus! Birds sing for territory and attracting a mate, join us as we hear the quintet of a Song Thrush and Mistle Thrush, Greenfinch, Robin and Wren! We should hear some migrants too, such as a backpacking Blackcap and wordly Whitethroat and possibly even a caravanning Cuckoo! ?
This event is lead by the one and only Simon Braidman, we are privileged to have a man of his knowledge and passion in our beautiful parks and nature reserves!
A continental style breakfast will be laid on. You can sit around the Old Dairy Ecology Centre and watch the sun come up.
Clothing: Please wear lots of layers: it will be cold. We will cancel in torrential rain or very high winds (50mph).
