Data, Trust, and Competitive Advantage in an AI-Driven Market
The London Insurance Market is on the cusp of a new era. From dynamic pricing and decision-support to catastrophe modelling

About this Event

The London Insurance Market is on the cusp of a new era. From dynamic pricing and decision-support to catastrophe modelling and multi-agent AI, tomorrow’s underwriting and risk strategies depend on a foundation of trusted, active data. But are we ready?

Join LMF and your community peers in EC3 on 25th November at the wonder, Ivy in the City, for a FREE, 120-minute interactive London Market breakfast roundtable, bringing together underwriters, actuaries, pricing and ratings specialists, risk leaders, and chief underwriting officers from across the Market.

This cross-market gathering will explore how insurers can overcome data silos, strengthen governance, and embed explainability in AI-driven decision-making — turning “data rich, insight poor” into true competitive advantage.

We are very grateful to Earnix for supporting this session. We'll hear the thoughts of Dr Marcus Looft. Marcus has 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. During this time he shaped the industries modern pricing approach being with Earnix, Milliman and WTW as a leading consultant and in the industry with Allianz and AXA in responsible roles in Pricing & Underwriting. He co-founded the insurer Simpego in Switzerland entering the market with the first AI driven market pricing approach and lean cloud-based legacy systems. In his current role he serves as Director of Strategy for Earnix Ltd. He is based in Munich and is a qualified Actuary. In addition, there'll be an important interactive session where we'll all get the opportunity to share our thoughts and learn from each other.

What to expect:

  • Commentary and insights from market professionals and domain experts
  • Live polling and interactive debate to test sentiment across the room
  • A comprehensive roundtable discussion, moderated by LMF CEO Roger Oldham
