Crondall Energy Breakfast Briefing - FPSO projects - newbuild, conversion or redeployment?
FPSOs: new-build, conversion or redeployment? Challenge or opportunity?
In today’s oil and gas market, FPSO projects continue to benchmark favourably against onshore shale – and consequently the FPSO market continues to show signs of recovery, despite some recent oil price volatility.
Oil companies need to confront a number of key decisions in the early stages of shaping an FPSO project and one of the more challenging decisions is whether to specify a new build hull, a converted tanker hull – or indeed seek out an existing FPSO as a candidate for redeployment?
In the first of Crondall Energy’s 2019 series of breakfast briefings, Crondall’s Duncan Peace, will look at some of the challenges and opportunities around this important topic – and provide some guidance on the way this decision making process might be structured and managed
Invitation to book your place on the following briefings will follow nearer the time:
May 7th, 2019 - Houston – The future of unattended installations – stretching the envelope.
September 4th, 2019 - Aberdeen – Subsea focus
