With And Other Stories she has published The Iliac Crest and The Taiga Syndrome.Christina MacSweeney is the award-winning literary translator of works by Julián Herbert, Valeria Luiselli, and Karla Suárez. She was granted a 2024 Sundial Literary Translation Award for her translation of Verónica Gerber Bicecci’s The Company and she won the 2025 Cercador Prize for her translation of Jazmina Barrera’s The Queen of Swords.Leo Boix is a Latinx bilingual poet, translator and educator born in Argentina and based in London. His first collection, Ballad of a Happy Immigrant (2021), was a Poetry Book Society Wild Card Choice and his second collection, Southernmost: Sonnets (2025), was named Poetry Book of the Year by The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph, and The Week. Boix is the editor and lead translator of the groundbreaking anthology Hemisferio Cuir, which brings a new generation of queer Latin American voices into English. His work has been commissioned by Tate Modern, Kew Gardens, Projekt Europa, and the National Poetry Library, and he is the recipient of the Bart Wolffe Poetry Prize, the Keats–Shelley Prize, and a PEN Award.The discussion will be followed by an audience Q&A and book signing.
