Aims:

• Explain why clear aligners are an effective treatment option for all patients - showcasing the health & aesthetic benefits of orthodontic treatment using Clear Aligners
• Demonstrate how to deal with patient selection and patient management challenges
• Explain the benefits of Clear Aligner treatment for direct and indirect restorative dentistry
• Explaining the Orthodontic Assessment and consultation
• Explain how to make accurate recordings for the Clear Aligner Treatment Plan
• Demonstrate how to effectively communicate treatment options for clear aligner treatment to patients – ensuring informed consent is obtained

Objectives:

To provide an understanding of:

• Why GDPs should offer Clear Aligner treatment to their patients
• The various options and associated treatments with Clear Aligner treatment
• How to use Case Selection and Ortho assessment

Dr. Chloe Harrington-Taylor graduated from the University of Bristol in 2013 with a distinction in restorative dentistry. She gained membership to the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2014 and is an Associate Fellow of the College of General Dentistry.Chloe holds a certificate in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry, a Master's Degree in Implant Dentistry (with distinction), and a Diploma in Clear Aligner Therapy. Her clinical practice focuses on cosmetic dentistry, clear aligner therapy, and implant prosthodontics. She has treated over 1,200 clear aligner cases and is experienced in using advanced auxiliaries and Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs).Chloe has won Best Young Dentist at the Private Dentistry Awards in 2022 and 2024. She is the Practice Clinical Lead at Hereford Dental Implant Clinic, which won Practice of the Year in 2024.Chloe is the Clear Aligner Programme Lead for PortmanDentex.
