Cancellations & Substitutions
Cancellation by us
5.1. We reserve the right to cancel an event at our sole discretion for any reason and at any time. In the event of cancellation by us (other than due to a Force Majeure Event), we will refund any registration fees paid by you in respect of the cancelled event. Where we cancel an event due to a Force Majeure Event, you may not be entitled to a refund. In all circumstances, we will use reasonable endeavours to notify you in advance of any such cancellation.

5.2. Conference cancellations: If you wish to cancel your attendance at a conference, you must notify us in writing by emailing us at conferences@haymarket.com as soon as possible, as this will impact whether we can give you a refund of your registration fees. Unless stated otherwise in the online registration form, if you provide us with notice to cancel 30 calendar days or more before the first day of the conference, we will refund your registration fees minus the “administration fee” we are entitled to retain (as specified in the event information). However, if you provide us with notice to cancel less than 30 calendar days before the first day of the conference, we will not be able to refund your registration fees.
5.3. Forum cancellations: Whilst not encouraged, all cancellations for attendances at forums must be made in writing to live.events@haymarket.com as soon as possible, as this will impact whether you are liable to pay a cancellation / non-attendance fee (in accordance paragraphs 5.4 and 5.5 below). It is your responsibility to ensure that we have received the cancellation in writing with sufficient advance notice to avoid incurring a cancellation / non-attendance fee. Where you are liable to pay cancellation / non-attendance fees in accordance with this Agreement, such fees shall be payable by you within 30 days of the closing date of the forum. The Event Team shall invoice you 30 days after the closing date of the forum if the payment of cancellation / non-attendance fees due has not been made by you.
