The Pledge has been created in partnership with Attitude is Everything, a disability led organisation with over 26 years’ experience of working in the industry.Through the Camden Accessibility Pledge, we aim to promote positive change through engagement and partnership. It will encourage businesses to consider accessibility as an integral part of good premises management and customer service, including staff awareness and training, accessible information, communication, physical access, service arrangements and the experience of disabled customers.This is a voluntary commitment for licensed premises in the borough. It encourages venues to adopt a practical, proportionate, and supportive approach to accessibility, with a focus on continuous improvement. It complements, and does not replace, our legal duties under the Equality Act 2010.Why attend the launch event?Our licensed venues are central to the borough’s cultural, hospitality and night-time economy.
