This is not a performance. This is a remembering. The Power of Your VoiceYour voice is one of the most powerful healing tools you carry within you. When we sing, tone, or chant, even softly, we activate the vagus nerve, calm the nervous system, and shift the body out of stress and into presence. Conscious use of the voice, combined with intentional breathwork, creates a moving meditation that releases tension held deep in the body, opens the chest, and invites a profound sense of freedom and aliveness.Singing and sounding also work directly with the throat chakra (Vishuddha) our energetic centre of authentic expression, truth, and communication. When this chakra is blocked or constricted, we may feel unheard, creatively stuck, or disconnected from our true selves. Through breath, sound, and song, we gently soften those barriers, allowing your voice and with it, your truest self, to be fully expressed and heard. What to ExpectTogether, we sing mantras, medicine songs, and indigenous songs to honour our Pachamama, awaken our voices, and stir our inner light. Each song is a doorway into the body, into the breath, into community.Cacao is shared as a love medicine ~ a heart-opening, plant-based gift that gently expands awareness, deepens feeling, and prepares the heart to receive. As the cacao opens the heart and the breath opens the throat, the voice becomes a bridge between the two a living expression of your most authentic self. Why Breathwork MattersBreath is the foundation of sound. In this workshop, you will be gently guided to use your breath as an anchor to settle into your body, release what no longer serves you, and build the energetic capacity to let your voice flow freely. Deep, conscious breathing before and during singing oxygenates the body, activates the parasympathetic nervous system, and creates the conditions for true emotional release and joy.In just 90 minutes, you will move through presence, play, and sound arriving exactly as you are and leaving uplifted, grounded, and held in community. No singing experience is needed. No perfect pitch required. Only your willingness to show up and be heard.Come as you are. Leave as more of yourself. So alegria 🌿Please note ~ Cacao Disclaimer:The cacao used in this ceremony is ceremonial grade and significantly stronger than regular drinking chocolate.
