Here in Greenwich, another relationship shapes our tastings, that with the local cheesemonger, Turnpins. So, to mark Bordeaux wine month, we're getting together to celebrate the best of Bordeaux wine and British cheese. We will pour the wines and owner Chris will be on hand to tell us the stories of the artisan cheeses he has selected.Whether it's the plush, plummy fruit of a Saint-Émilion with the fresh tang of a Westcombe cheddar, or the golden nectar of Sauternes with a ripe and salty blue, this is a feast for the wine lover and gourmet.Our shop tastings start at 7.30pm and run for approximately one-and-a-half to two hours. We will taste six to eight wines on a theme, and bread, cheese, and charcuterie are provided to match with the wines.
