- **Event Description**: Join us for the launch of new monograph, Invisible, on architecture studio Axi:Ome.About this EventInvisible is a book on the St Louis-based design practice Axi:Ome, led by Heather Woofter and Sung Ho Kim. A collection of essays and projects mapping the trajectory of seven years of work from 2015 to 2022, this monograph covers 24 projects in different cultural landscapes around the world. Nader Tehrani, Eric Mumford, Alan Balfour, Jennifer Yoos, Nanako Umemoto and Jessie Reiser provide insightful texts supporting and articulating the practice’s critical frameworks. The book documents the often invisible ethos that constructs a project and challenges practitioners to rethink and re-examine how they position themselves within an architectural spectrum.Sung Ho Kim is Director of the Architecture and Urban Design Program at Kent State University and Founding Director of Axi:Ome, and was previously endowed Raymond E Maritz Professor of Architecture and engaged in research with biology and computer science at Washington University in St Louis.Heather Woofter is Dean of the School of Architecture at the University of Texas in Austin and Founding Director at Axi:Ome, and was previously endowed Sam and Marilyn Fox Professor and Director of the College of Architecture and the Graduate School of Architecture & Urban Design at Washington University in St Louis. Dimitris Gourdoukis is Assistant Professor of Architecture at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and is a Director of Object-E Architecture. Tyson Hosmer is Associate Professor and Programme Director of  Architectural Design MArch at UCL Bartlett.We are delighted to welcome Heather Woofter and Sung Ho Kim to the AA Bookshop to celebrate the launch of their new publication.
