We are delighted to introduce a unique cross-border pitch event co-hosted by the Francis Crick Institute, KQ Labs, and MEDISO Direct Flight, where Japanese and UK life science startups take the stage in turn to showcase their breakthrough innovations and inspire each other.

This event celebrates the dynamic partnership between Japan and the UK — two nations renowned for their creativity and scientific excellence in biotechnology and healthcare innovation.

Through a series of short, alternating pitches, each company will share its cutting-edge science, bold vision, and global ambitions before an audience of investors, corporates, and ecosystem partners.

More than just a showcase, this session is a collaborative exchange — a chance for startups from both countries to learn from one another, spark new ideas, and build lasting connections that could lead to joint research, co-development, and future investment.
