- **Event Description**: The Arts SU Welcome Fair is back and we’re expecting another BIG day!About this Event10-11am for Quiet Hour Bookings - New or current UAL students onlyWhat is it?The annual Welcome Fair is your time to discover new communities through the Students’ Union sports clubs and societies. It’s also the best way to introduce yourself to the main services provided by UAL that you’ll need to know throughout your time studying here. Alongside this, the Students’ Union invites local and international organisations and businesses onto campus that bring giveaways, competitions and freebies for all students that attend. So, whether you're searching for a club or society to join, looking to find out more information on the Students' Union and student-led campaigns, or simply searching for discounts and offers, you're at the right place!Who can attend?The Welcome Fair is completely FREE and open to all UAL students - not just new students. Whether you're starting your first year, returning for another, studying at undergraduate or postgraduate level, or based at any UAL college, you're invited.What’s new this year?In response to the year-on-year increase in attendees, this year, we’re introducing free tickets so that everyone gets the opportunity to attend and experience the fair in a relaxed and timely manner. No more long waiting indefinitely in the queue. Pick your time slot, turn up and enjoy the fair!We’ve also extended the event time by two hours to ensure that there is ample time for all who wish to attend. Our quiet hour remains the same (10am – 11am) which is designated as a quiet/access hour for those students who need some additional space and quiet in order to enjoy the event. Music is turned off to help create a more calming environment and we ask students to keep noise levels low. We encourage only those who may prefer this type of visit to book this time slot.How does the ticketing work?Tickets are free to book via Eventbrite. Each hour has an allocated number of tickets and once those are all booked, that time slot will no longer be available to book online. Should your preferred time slot be fully booked, please select another time slot.Further InformationWe understand that some attendees may not be able to stand in the queue for a long period of time and so we advise those students to inform the Students' Union team upon arrival, so that we can accommodate your entrance into the fair. This event is for UAL students only however should you wish to bring a carer, need support due to a medical condition or would like to attend with a parent or friend, please email events@su.arts.ac.uk with the name of your additional guest by 5pm, Thursday 24th September.
