Open mic slots are up to 4 minutes. That can include one longer piece or multiple shorter poems. All poetry styles and experience levels are welcome so don't be shy to sign up! 

Our feature poet for November is Halogen:

Halogen is primarily a spoken word artist, having fallen in love with the audience connection and community of live shows as soon as she discovered poetry slams. Since then she has been involved in spoken word scenes across multiple cities as both a performer and organizer. Her poetry has also appeared in publications such as Headlights Anthology, Soliloquies, and The New Quarterly. She has a BA in creative writing and English literature from Concordia University. Halogen currently lives in London, Ontario but would prefer to be living in a treehouse somewhere with less slush and more magic.
