Anual Sixth Form Mooting Competition
Queen Mary Pro Bono Society will be hosting its annual form moot competition during February-March. Four sixth form students are chosen from St. Paul's Way Trust to take part in this competition. They will be paired with two QMUL students that will mentor and guide through the moot competition explaining the roles on each designated side (appellant and respondent) and will work with them and offer their support online and during the designated rounds. There will be 4 major events expected to occur: the informative session and the preparation for the practice round, due to take place on 31st January and 7th of February, the knock-out rounds (28th February) and the final (7th March). Please note that time details are to be confirmed.
The final will have a barrister judge the round.
The position of a judge sitting during the first two rounds is vacant. Both experiences are greatly valued and a wonderful addition to your CV!
If you are interested as being either a mentor or a judge please send details with your name, year of study, modules done related to human rights and possible mooting experience via email at aHVtYW5yaWdodHMgfCBxbXByb2Jvbm8gISBvcmc=
