A published version of the text will be launched on the evening.The event is free to attend, and no booking is required.§Yiskah, the pseudonym of Cornish sound artist Jessica Beechey, creates minimalist and drone-based works that blend field recordings with interactive and generative techniques. Her recent projects investigate the acoustic properties of Cornish fogous - ancient underground structures - exploring their potential role as ritual spaces through both acoustic and acoustemological lenses. Now pursuing a PhD at Falmouth University, Yiskah's research focuses on Cornish heritage, identity, and landscape, aiming to amplify the sonic and political voices of marginalised communities and the natural environment.Elliot Buchanan is a London-based artist working with sound to examine the complexities of the human experience. Utilising listening and sound-making as investigative methods, his practice explores how sonic materiality articulates social relations through spatiotemporal entanglements. Working mostly with sculptural sound installation, performance and radio he has shown work at The Swiss Church, Bomb Factory Foundation and completed a residency at Chisenhale Art Place. He curates a monthly radio show on RTM.FM entitled Intimacy which exists as a common ground for conceptual artistsAdam Shield is an artist from Newcastle upon Tyne, who lives and works in London. He has exhibited nationally, including at the Drawing Room, the Showroom (London), the Priestman Gallery, Baltic 39, Belmacz, Royal Academy of Arts, and Glasgow International. He co-runs Long Distance Press with Thomas Whittle.
