They will share their creative journey and explore how African mythology, folklore and culture are represented in contemporary art and media.The histories, cultures and stories of Black communities are often overlooked. This event offers an opportunity to learn about the rich narratives, deities and spiritual systems that shaped Africa before colonisation. Together, they aim to dismantle long-held misconceptions around African mythology and spirituality; offering bold, beautiful reimaginings that educate and inspire.Their work spans canvas, podcasting and content creation. They have been commissioned by major institutions including Tate Modern, Tate Britain, The National Gallery London, BBC Arts, the Fitzwilliam Museum Cambridge and EA Games in collaboration with Black Girl Gamers.
