Major African partners include South Africa, Nigeria, Egypt, Kenya and Ghana, with South Africa traditionally the largest market.On investment, the UK has a long-standing presence in African markets: the stock of UK foreign direct investment (FDI) in Africa rose to about £49.6 billion by 2023, with steady albeit modest growth over the past decade.
