About this Event

ACCoRD – A Community for Contract Regulation for Data is a groundbreaking initiative to streamline and improve research data contracting across the UK.

Note: this is a hybrid event - please select online or in person when registering

Data contracts—formal agreements governing how research data is stored, shared, and used—are essential to the UK’s Digital Research Infrastructure (DRI). Yet, the current contracting process is often slow, complex, and inconsistent.

ACCoRD aims to change that by building a national framework for data contracts and a vibrant community of experts to guide its development.

Join us to hear initial results from recent our process mapping, stakeholder identification, good practice and challenges survey of stakeholders from accross the Data Contracting community.

Who Should Attend

If you’re involved in research data contracting in any capacity, we'd love to have your feedback and comments on our initial findings. For example, you r work may include one of these roles:

  • Researchers and data users
  • Legal and contracts professionals
  • University contracting teams
  • Data centre staff
  • Policy makers and infrastructure experts

The survey builds builds towards the evidence base and roadmap for a framework for reesarch data contracting across the UK's Digital Reearch Infrastructure.
