What are my options for getting to and from the event?
By Bus - 207,427,483,607,E2,E7,E8,E11 stop close to Ealing Town Hall. Opposite the TH is the site of the old cinema. Take the passage by the side and turn right at the end. The entrance to Walpole Park is on your left.
By Train - Walpole Park is a 15 - 20 minute journey from Paddington station. Take the train to Ealing Broadway, and turn left out of the station until you reach the main Uxbridge Road where you will see the North Star. Take the right turn till you see the church. Turn left until you see the Drapers Arms (previously O'Neill's). Cross past the front of the Drapers Arms and you will see the main entrance to the park (currently closed). Walk down Mattock Lane until you enter the park via the gate on your left. Alternatively you can take the E2 or E8 bus from outside the station to the Town Hall stop and then follow the bus directions.
By Underground - The closest Underground stations to Walpole Park are Ealing Broadway on the Central and District lines or South Ealing on the Heathrow bound Piccadilly line. Either of these stations is approximately a 10 minute walk away. Directions from Ealing Broadway can be found above. From South Ealing take a left out of the station up South Ealing Road until it curves to the right. At this point take a left into Church Lane and then a sharp right into St Georges Avenue which then becomes Lammas Park Road. At the end turn left and you will shortly see the southern entrance to the park.
What about parking?
Mattock Lane has pay and display parking until 7.30pm (later on Friday). Free parking is available behind Ealing Council offices after 6pm.
Why do you close early on Saturday?
We share the site with the Ealing Summer events, unfortunately we need to start packing down late Saturday afternoon so that we can hand the site over the following day.
Why are advance tickets more expensive than on the door?
Advance tickets include a per-ticket administation fee levied by our ticket agents.  The festival only receives the face value price of each ticket.
Do you have seating available?
We attempt to provide sufficient seating but there will never be enough for everybody. If dry you may wish to sit on the grass, otherwise feel free to bring a blanket and/or folding chair.
Please do offer seats to those less able to stand and please do not reserve seats for those who have not arrived.
Can I bring my own food/drink into the event?
You are welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, you may bring a ticket on a smartphone or tablet, as long as we are able to scan the bar-code on admission.
Can I by a ticket as a gift for someone / is my ticket transferrable?
Your are welcome to gift or transfer your ticket, however if you buy a concessionary ticket, such as a CAMRA members ticket, the new ticket holder will need proof of that concession in their own name or will be asked to pay the difference in ticket price on admission.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Yes, this is fine.  Please note the above statement about concessionary tickets.
What is your ticket refund policy?
All ticket sales are final.  We are unable to refund tickets if you are unable to attend.
How can I contact the organiser with any questions?
