Information will include inter alia:

-The multifaceted role of the social worker: rights advocate, care coordinator, safeguarding of vulnerable clients
-Venues where social workers work: Social Services offices, home visits, prisons, hospitals, courts, schools
-Social workers and professional conduct and ethics: compassion, empathy and independence
-Social workers and clients who are minors: friend (prevent child abuse) or foe (support unwanted adoption of client's child)
-Social workers and the elderly: friend (prevent elder abuse) or foe (advocate for unwanted care home placement)
-Social workers and the mentally ill: friend (support in the community) or foe (advocate for Mental Health Act detention)
-Social workers and interpreters : same client but different disciplines and perspectives?
