A magical reading event where kids read with a local Queen, take photos and leave with their very own crown! 

Project CROWN is a joyful and empowering reading program that brings together literacy, mentorship, and celebration—all within the welcoming space of our local library. 

Designed to foster a love of reading among our youth, the program features interactive storytime sessions with a local Queen—a woman leader or role model from the community—who reads with the children and shares words of encouragement.

At the end of each session, every child is crowned in a light-hearted, symbolic ceremony to honor their participation, build confidence, and spark pride in their reading journey.

Partnering with Project CROWN means helping children feel celebrated and connected—one story at a time.

Schools with the most participants will win a pizza party with Mrs. Georgia American 2025 and some of her friends!
